Adult – FAQs

What is the length of treatment?

Our program is based on each patient’s needs, so length of treatment varies.  The recommended treatment time for the day program is generally four weeks.  The Intensive Outpatient Program runs ten weeks.

What are daily hours?

Group therapy sessions begin at 10 am and continue to 3 pm, with a one-hour break for lunch. Individual, marital, or family sessions are scheduled before or after those hours. Eating disorder and sexual wellness groups meet at 9am.

Do you admit patients in need of detox?

We are able to admit most patients in need of detox into our Outpatient Detox Program. In rare instances where inpatient detox would be medically necessary, we will assist those patients in obtaining that service.

Is a therapist available after hours?

Yes. We have a therapist on call 24 hours daily.

Do you take Medicare/Medicaid insurance?

We are not a Medicare/Medicaid provider.

What does the treatment program consist of?

Treatment is predominately group therapy. In addition, patients have weekly sessions with a physician, a psychiatric nurse, and individual, marital, or family sessions with an individual therapist.

How do you communicate with physicians or therapists who refer patients?

We send weekly treatment updates to referring physicians or therapists and a discharge summary when treatment is completed.

Do you have an evening program?

The Intensive Outpatient Program is an evening program.  In addition, an after care group meets weekly.
