The person you speak with will ask a number of questions about you or the prospective patient, which will allow us to make an initial determination as to whether one of our programs is appropriate. If so, we will schedule a comprehensive assessment, which will be conducted by a therapist. The assessment is free of charge, and will allow us to make a final determination as to whether the individual would benefit from one of our programs.

Should treatment at our facility not be deemed medically appropriate, we will refer the individual to other facilities or clinicians. Individuals who are severely psychotic or actively suicidal, homicidal, or physically combative will be referred to a more appropriate level of care.

Insurance and Financial Matters

Three Oaks is a preferred provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi, including the State of Mississippi Employee Group. We are “In network” with most major insurance companies, including AETNA, CIGNA, United Behavioral Health, and Value Options.

At the time of assessment, we will ask the prospective patient to provide us with information concerning their medical insurance coverage. We will contact the insurance company to confirm that coverage including details of any deductibles and out of pocket amounts that are the patient’s responsibility. After the assessment we will meet with the prospective patient to review the insurance information and discuss payment options should there be any remaining obligation.

We will also work with patients and their families to develop self-payment options.
